Treatment stages
On admission, surgical treatment was performed: nonviable tissue was removed and the wound bed was cleaned. Novoskin dressing was applied to the prepared granulating surface. Eight dressing changes at 10–12-day intervals. After the second change, active granulation and reduction in wound area were noted.
